One of the longest running MONSTER hits of off Broadway screams into St. Petersburg Little Theatre

April 25- May 11, 2008.

Director Rand Smith hopes you will drop into St. Petersburg Little Theatre for a little bite; for Audrey II that is.

Based on the low-budget cult movie by Roger Corman Little Shop of Horrors opened off Broadway in 1983 and has been packing theatre’s ever since. With its appeal for kids and adults alike it’s a Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues extravaganza.  A hilarious musical spoof of the 1950’s sci-fi classics, a down and out nerd on skid row becomes an overnight sensation after finding an exotic plant.  While the plant has a killer singing voice, it also has a lust for blood and a quest for global domination.  With a score of fabulous songs by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken:
This show will have you screaming for more.  But remember DON’T FEED THE PLANTS!!!!!

Show times are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00PM and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00PM.  Call the Box Office for Tickets and Information at 727-866-1973.
Tickets are $20.00 adults and $10.00 students.  Website: www.splt.org.  The theatre is located just off 275 at 4025 31st. St. South, St. Petersburg.

This program was funded in part by the Pinellas County Commission through the Pinellas County Art’s Cultural Development Grant Program with additional funding from the City of St. Petersburg
